Biography

An Open Letter to our Patrons and Guests:

In 1996 Byron and Anne Dennis left a fine business in the real estate market in Jackson, Mississippi, in order to follow a dream... one of making Anne's art available to most of the nation.  This has been accomplished by meeting other artists, learning of outstanding venues, and submitting slides of Anne's work for the jurying process (an important part of any fine show). When the invitation arrives , the schedule is adjusted , and the itinerary is planned.

Her home base is Brandon, Mississippi; however, there are not many weeks of the year they are there.  A luxury motor coach is mostly "home" and is accompanied by a van in tow for additional convenience (the van contains the essentials for the show).

The coach is a traveling studio more spacious than one might think.  This is where Anne paints and

studies concepts and ideasduring the week (either inside, or outdoors with her easel under the canopy).  Byron has created his unique matting and framing station, to give each on Anne's paintings their final presentation.  In this manner and accompanied by their little Shelty, Brandy, they have seen much of our nation and made many friends along the way.

If you're able to attend any of the scheduled shows, please consider this a personal invitation to come by and say hello.  It is always a pleasnt surprise to see friends and acquaintances from one geographic area suddenly appear "out of context" in a totally different region.  What a small world!
